Introduction to prostate aka the male G-spot

Yes, you read that right, men also have a G spot, or a P spot and it is capable of producing some intense orgasms…

Unlike the G spot in women, which is shrouded in mystery, the male G spot is relatively easier to find. The G spot also known as the P spot, P is for prostate, is a gland about the size of a walnut located just under the bladder and surrounds the urethra.

How to find it…

Well I can tell two ways you can use to reach the prostate and stimulate it for pleasure.

The most straightforward way is, by inserting a clean, lubricated finger about first knuckle deep, inside the anus of your partner after prior consent. The prostate is around 2 inches inside the rectum.

The second way is more external and you can reach the prostate by stimulating the perineum, part of skin between the scrotum and the anus. A good alternative for people looking for a less penetrative way.

How to stimulate it?

Communicate, Prepare, Get in the mood and… have fun!

Always communicate before, anal play may be new for your partner and getting consent before will help the both of you enjoy and experiment more.

Now key things to remember:
Don’t be shy of using lube, preferably silicone based, because anus has no natural lubrication, so a lubricant will come in handy and reduce friction and tearing.

Use a condom on your finger or a latex glove.. sounds like a mood killer, but there’s bacteria there and you do not want that, so protection will go a long way.

Toys, yes there are toys available to spruce up the prostate play, not necessary, but they are available just in case you feel the need to try them.

How does the Prostate provide pleasure?

It is not clear what exactly happens but one theory suggests the presence of nerves attached to the prostate play a role in the increased sensations and since the nerves are attached to the penis and urethra too, the sexual pleasure felt is enhanced.

But the prostate has another more imporant role to play…

The prostatic secretions makes up to 30% of the semen and hence plays an important role in the reproduction system.

Therefore, pleasure or not, maintaining a healthy prostate is very important.

Discovering new erogenous zones can lead to better sexual satisfaction and better orgasms, so communicate with your partner and explore each other to spice up things in the bedroom.
